Lake County PAT

Parents as Teachers of Lake County, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization managing PAT programs in the following communities:

Crown Point East Chicago Hammond Lowell North Township Whiting

Parents as Teachers of Lake County, Inc. also assists other communities with start-up activities to begin new PAT programs. In addition, we partner with independent PAT programs in Northwest Indiana to collaborate in fundraising, marketing, program development, and professional development activities. These other PAT partner programs currently include:

• Dunebrook (LaPorte County)
• Gary Community School Corporation
• Hanover Community School Corporation (Cedar Lake)
• School City of Hobart
• Lake Station Community Schools
• Mental Health America of Lake County
• Porter County Parents as Teachers
• TradeWinds Rehabilitation Services, Inc. (Gary)

All together, over 700 families and 900 children currently receive PAT services in Northwest Indiana!
